Hasoub Campus Cup stages to winning an all-expense paid participation in an overseas startups conference
Hasoub Campus Startup Cup (CSC) is a 3-month long program designed to expose Arab students to entrepreneurship and business. All technical and non-technical disciplinary students are welcome to join the program.
The program consists of 2 key stages. Stage 1: Creathon and Stage 2: BootCamp and Pitch Day. The design thinking process methodology and business model canvas will be taught during the CSC to help students understand key business concepts and help them develop their business idea.
The Creathon will take place this weekend- April 5-6. A 2-day creathon to ideate, prototype and pitch your business idea at Nazareth. Participants will be equipped to Business Model Canvas, WIX interface and skills for pitching. Only the top 10 teams will move on to Stage 2- Bootcamp. The bootcamp will be a 2 day program. Participants will be guided on creating a minimal viable product and taught how to conduct market validation before pitching to panel. Industry mentors will be on hand to guide teams in stage 2.
The participants will have a chance to pitch their final ideas in front of a notable panel of judges and get a chance to hear valuable advice. The top 3 teams will be selected and will win an all-expense paid trip to participate in an overseas startup conference.
